Support that goes further

Support workers who actually understand.

Quality Care • NDIS-Trained Workers

Our support workers are matched carefully — to the person, not the postcode. From hoist transfers to community access, daily living to overnight support, we show up trained, capable, and ready.

Built around the lived experience of co-founder Tony Pinto, a quadriplegic operator who knows what good support looks like — and what bad support feels like.

Independence, every day

Daily living & community participation.

Recovery isn't a destination — it's the rhythm of small wins, repeated. Coffee runs that build confidence. Bus trips that rebuild trust. Routines that anchor recovery.

We work alongside participants to build the independence, confidence, and long-term stability to live life on their own terms.

NDIS & Funding

PurpleCare is a registered-ready NDIS provider supporting participants across Queensland with person-centred, outcomes-focused services. We work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants.

Support Coordination

Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordination across Queensland. Our coordinators decode your NDIS plan, connect you with vetted providers, and build your capacity to self-direct over time. We specialise in complex cases — hospital discharge, housing transitions, crisis response and dual-diagnosis participants. You get a real person who answers the phone, not a ticket number.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

24/7 support in shared homes or individual living arrangements tailored to your goals. We offer active-overnight and sleepover rosters, integrated behaviour support, and skilled staff trained in high-needs care. Every SIL placement is matched on compatibility, culture and clinical fit — not just bed availability. Independence, dignity and choice drive every shift.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

End-to-end SDA support — from eligibility evidence and OT reports through to vacancy matching and tenancy sign-on. We work across all four design categories: High Physical Support, Robust, Fully Accessible and Improved Liveability. Our provider network spans South-East Queensland with new builds and established homes. We’ll tell you straight if SDA isn’t the right pathway for you.

Locating A Plan Live

Make your plan work harder. We map every dollar across Core, Capacity Building and Capital supports so funding stretches the full plan period. Plan reviews are prepared with strong evidence — provider reports, OT assessments, lived outcomes — so you walk in ready. No more underspends, no more surprise cuts, no more guessing what the planner wants to hear.

Paula Yarak
Our Founder

Meet Paula.

"PurpleCare was created from the heart — it's something I genuinely care about and feel deeply connected to."

Hi, I’m Paula Yarak — founder and director of PurpleCare.

Over 30 years in healthcare across Australia, from mental health to nursing, I've supported people from every walk of life and within beautifully diverse communities. Those experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my belief that everyone deserves support that's not just professional — but kind, respectful, and truly personal.

PurpleCare is built on that belief: a service where participants are seen as whole people, not case numbers.

Nurse 30 Years in Mental Health Recovery Brisbane · Gold Coast · Sunshine Coast

PurpleCare is co-founded by Paula Yarak and Tony Pinto — a quadriplegic entrepreneur whose lived experience of significant disability shaped PurpleCare's commitment to building care that actually works for participants. Paula brings the clinical depth. Tony brings the operator's perspective from inside the disability experience itself.

Let's talk.

Got a participant you're matching, a question, or a referral? We pick up the phone — and we mean it.
